Roy made the front sight by cutting it out of a piece of brass and silver
soldering the post to the base. This won't be a thin low front sight like so
many guns back then. I requested a sight of at least 1/16 in thickness for
these eyes of mine to be able to easily see it.
Very nice! I think I'll have no problem seeing that.
As this is going to be a dedicated Deer gun, I asked Roy to make and install a
rear sight. I hope to try for a Turkey this Spring with it but after that it will
be primarily for Deer.
